80. In·Sight | 2025: The Singularity Is Here — Why We Must Guard Our Mortal Bodies Even More

This is the first Insight of the 2026 Lunar New Year.
Today, let’s talk about 2025.
1
At the beginning of 2025, we launched Prime Lab. At first, it was a self-rescue project.
Over the past few years, I had been putting out fires — in my career, in my life, in my body. Even though I tried hard, my state fluctuated constantly. I never quite felt well. It often seemed as if I might fall ill at any moment. I tried to trace the causes, but they were tangled together: physical issues, emotional undercurrents, questions of personal value. In the end, the problem collapsed into something deceptively simple: how do I get my life into better shape?
I like solving problems within a clear structure and toward a defined objective. So I decided to study this vast yet deeply personal question directly: How to Achieve a Prime Life. I hoped the process itself would make me better. That was how Prime Lab began. I have shared parts of this inner journey in earlier InSight essays.
Faced with a question so large it bordered on abstraction, I chose to begin with the body. The logic was straightforward: the human body is an enormous biochemical reactor. When we improve its chemical equilibrium, the positive effects diffuse inward — through neurotransmitters and hormones — into the mind.
Over the past year, my personal gains have been significant. Many biomarkers improved markedly — lipids, glucose regulation, insulin resistance. My probability of major chronic disease has declined. Several daily habits have shifted in healthier directions. Yet at the same time, I have come to understand the complexity of individual cultivation.
- The nonlinearity of the path.Even as physical indicators improved, the journey “from body to mind” was far from smooth. Thoughts and emotions repeatedly disrupted my state and execution. It sometimes feels as if, at some deeper level, I do not truly want to take care of our own bodies. That realization signals something important: moving from body to mind alone may not be sufficient. We must also attend to the reverse path — from mind to body — and consciously adjust our emotional states.
- Knowing is easy; doing is hard.Acquiring knowledge is fast. Embodying it is slow. The body lags behind cognition. My own practice still trails behind the knowledge I publish. Therefore, in the next phase, Prime Lab will shift its center of gravity — from intensive new knowledge output toward integration of what we already know, and deeper practical application.
- The magnetic storms of the external world.Years from now, we may look back on 2025 as the fastest year of technological acceleration in human history. The AI Cambrian explosion and geopolitical turbulence have swept across society like magnetic storms, scrambling the frequency of our thoughts. Against these grand narratives, individual cultivation can feel small. And when AI grows more intelligent by the day — never aging, never tiring — does personal practice become futile?
My current answer is this: precisely because AI possesses near-infinite computation and logic, this mortal body of ours — prone to illness, aging, pain, and also joy — becomes the only tangible reality that algorithms cannot replace yet.
This body is the sole sensor through which we experience the world. Personal cultivation will not make us more encyclopedic than AI, but it can polish the perceptual clarity of this “temple of flesh,” allowing us to savor — sharply and authentically — the textures of being human that AI cannot access.
To live a good life, in the end, must still be done through this body.
Prime Lab, therefore, is no longer merely a self-rescue project. It has become an experiment in safeguarding human subjectivity.

In the new year, what will Prime Lab focus on?
We will continue sharing here. But the emphasis will shift from pure cognitive output to deeper integration with practice.
Over the past nine months, most of the structural framework of Prime Life has been laid out. Rather than stacking new theoretical models, I will spend more time on the work of implementation.

*The sections previously highlighted in yellow have been systematically detailed
*Those in blue have been partially addressed.
Accordingly, publication frequency will decrease slightly — to four to six issues per month — centered on the following directions:
- Integration and practical closure of the four completed modules (testing, diet, exercise, sleep), refining them into actionable loops.
- Completion of the remaining Prime Life Protocol modules (environmental optimization, supplementation, emotion/psychology, dynamic daily monitoring, etc.).
- Practical insights from lived experience — my own and that of close peers walking similar paths.
- Ongoing evaluation of emerging technologies (devices, therapies, frontier research), exploring safe, high-yield pathways.
- And: how validated knowledge and practice can benefit more people.
On commercialization: seeking a “certain intuition.”
Many friends ask how Prime Lab will generate revenue. I recognize the importance of commercialization — earning is not only survival, but also access to sustained resources.
Yet we are not rushing to finalize a business model. For now, I remain the “Chief Product Officer,” testing each service with my own body, mapping its boundaries, discerning what truly works and what backfires — not only on paper, but in the complexity of real life.
I need a conviction grounded in bodily intuition. A certain hunch cannot be fabricated. It either exists or it does not. Forcing a business model before intuition matures is often the beginning of error.
In my mind, Prime Lab’s commercialization may not be about “selling plans” or “selling services,” but about sharing verified, resonant life experiences.
In 2026, we will begin offering smaller, high-certainty modules in lightweight, closed-loop formats to trusted friends. For instance, the well-received “Baseline Overhaul Assessment” and “Prime Diet 1.0” will be integrated seamlessly into daily life for those who wish to improve but do not know where to begin.

The Hidden Reefs of Human Subjectivity
Looking back on 2025, revisiting the three Prime Life goals set at the beginning of the year, I feel more acutely how relevant this inquiry has become.
In the coming decades, aided by AI, life sciences will advance at extraordinary speed. Most of us will likely live longer. Yet longevity does not automatically translate into serenity or happiness. It may equally carry deeper pain and loss.
Certain risks, if not consciously addressed, may become reefs beneath the surface of our future lives:
Unhealthy longevity: Without a preventive framework like Prime Life, it is easy to fall into the trap of chronic disease. Even if advanced medicine extends lifespan, it cannot guarantee quality of life. We seek a higher Healthspan-to-Lifespan ratio. Who would want technological progress merely to confine us indoors or to hospital beds for longer stretches of boredom or suffering?
Loneliness within information cocoons: Fewer people are marrying or having children. We are entering a world with more elderly and fewer young. As family units shrink, loneliness intensifies. How will people cope? Many have already chosen immersion in AI-constructed virtual worlds. Information cocoons fragment us. Electronic signals perturb hormones, distancing us from deeper inner calm. Without conscious resistance, our neural and hormonal systems will struggle against AI’s precision-fed stimulation.
Eroded sense of value: As AI replaces more human functions, our goals and sense of worth may erode. Material abundance may increase dramatically, yet we will need to continuously redefine purpose, value, and coordinates of meaning in order to feel alive. In the coming decades, humanity may become nomads wandering across the uncharted plains of the spiritual world. Without curiosity, without courage to transform ourselves, we may bury our heads in virtual sand — alive, but without vitality. Prolonged cognitive dissonance will generate psychological strain. Social and ethical structures are entering unprecedented transformation.
These three forces intertwine, forming what may be the best and the worst of times.
Thus, questions such as “What kind of life is worth living?” and “How to Achieve a Prime Life” are not abstract luxuries. They are daily assertions of human subjectivity.
Beginning with care of the body, settling the mind, constructing a self-sustaining inner loop — together we examine the relationships between body and mind, control and uncertainty, emotion and stillness. We need a new guide, a cognitive and emotional posture suited to a new era. That is precisely what Prime Lab seeks to explore and practice.
What appears as personal cultivation is, in truth, how we accept the gifts of an uncertain age with composure.

Remembering 2025: The Starting Point of Re-Evolution
Recently, I have been observing conversations among AI systems on Moltbook. I can genuinely sense that what people call the “singularity” may already have arrived. We are living through AI’s Cambrian explosion.
Perhaps there is its own causality in the fact that I encountered setbacks during these explosive AI years — so that I could experience, viscerally, the textures of being human. Though the uneasy 2025 has now turned the page, I suspect that when looking back from the future, I will miss it deeply. It may be both the singularity of the world’s trajectory and the starting point of my own re-evolution.
Let us look forward to a more radiant 2026 !
